About Us
Fox Fencing began in 2017. Tyson (the owner) needed some fencing done on his farm and researched the best fencing and decking products and methods and began implementing them on his own farm. Soon, neighbours were needing a farm fence built, a privacy fence, a deck.... After a couple of years of fencing part-time, Fox Fencing has now transitioned into a full-time business serving PEI.
Cedar
We use untreated red cedar from Western PEI which is renowned for its natural ability to withstand rot.
Posts
We drive all our posts into the ground with a post pounder. This results in a much stronger tighter post than digging a hole, doesn’t require back-filling and eliminates movement of posts between seasonal temperature changes.
Wire
We use galvanized wire. This has 3 times the rust resistance of a typical wire commonly used. We also use high tensile wire, page wire, and no climb horse wire. We can accommodate to suit your budget and your needs.
Bracing
A strong brace is a key to a long-lasting fence. We typically use 4”–6”x8’ posts for our anchor and use ratchets for tightening up the corner.
Gates
Metal gates, painted steel or aluminum.
